  36. I've given up on the idea of purchasing an Alpha system for financial
  37. reasons. So I've decided that Pentium running Windows NT is my only option.
  38. Now before I actualy go out and buy the Pentium system, I have a few
  39. questions:
  40.  
  41. 1. Is it possible to network the pentium system to an amiga 3000? The main
  42. reasons for this are NTSC output (I have a toaster), and HD capacity.
  43.  
  44. 2. If this is a possibility, what do I need (hardware and software) on both
  45. sides to acomplish it?
  46.  
  47. 3. Will I be able to access a CD-ROM drive hooked to the Pentium from the
  48. Amiga?
  49.  
  50. 4. Will I be able to access a 1 Gb hard drive hooked to the Amiga from the
  51. Pentium?
  52.  
  53. 5. Are serial and paralel ports shareable?
  54.  
  55. 6. If I buy another Pentium in the near future, will I be able to add it to
  56. the network?
  57.  
  58. 7. Will I have to buy one copy of LightWave for each machine or is there a
  59. network option? What if the network is multi-platform?
  60.  
  61. 8. Will render distribution software like Plantation be able to work on a
  62. multi-platform environment?
  63.  
  64. 9. Do I have to dedicate one computer as a network server?
  65.
